Our Story
Ok, here's the real story:
Captain R. Caldwell and Miss A. Parries met at Central State University where they both worked. While judging a step show, Parries noticed Caldwell walk into the gym and take his seat at the judges panel. The following week, Caldwell had business with Parries' boss. He continued to come to her office every day for "business" purposes.
Days passed, and every day Caldwell came to visit Parries. Always the gentleman, always the lady, they conversed on many topics, finding first, their common love of video games, second, their common love of movies, and third, their common love of witty retort. After over a month of regular interaction, Parries got up the courage to ask Caldwell out, but was distressingly shot down. I believe the exact words were, "Can you give me some time, I'm really busy the next few weeks."
Well, just a few days later, Caldwell asked Parries out for a movie, and a budding friendship began. Over the next several months, Parries and Caldwell spent numerous hours together, watching movies, telling stories, and generally, authentically enjoying each other's company.
Making a long story short, between him being deployed and me continuing my exiguous existence, we realized the other had the only key to the part of our heart that held a life of happy happy joy joys. So, we decided to get married.
